Sonic Runners Revival is a 2D platformer where you can once again play the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog, that old SEGA flagship who, after being crowned one of the kings of the genre during the 90s, has gone years without showing his face.

In this new installment from the franchise, the control system has been adapted for touchscreen devices. Sonic automatically runs forward, so you just have to worry about jumping. Sonic can make up to three consecutive jumps without touching the ground.

Before beginning to play a game of Sonic Runners, you have to choose up to two 'buddies' for Sonic. Each provides different advantages, so depending on your objective, you can choose which ones you need. In addition, you can play with other classic characters from the franchise, such as Knuckles or Tails.

Sonic Runners Revival is a visually spectacular and fun platformer that offers a relatively loyal experience to the essence of the original, but adapted to the requirements of touchscreen devices. Certainly we're not talking about the best Sonic ever ... but considering its antecedents, perhaps that's not too far off.
